Challenge AJC : nouveau combo couleurs....

Après les challenges en crescendo avec les tampons sur AJC, c'est retour à quelque chose de plus 'simple': un combo couleur.

After our challenges in crescendo with the stamps on AJC, it's back to something a bit more 'simple': a color combo

France l'a choisi et moi j'ai craqué...je n'aurais jamais travailler ces couleurs en temps normal. C'est aussi cela le plaisir des challenges et le travail en binôme...

France choosed this and I liked it...I will never worked something like this in normal time. It's also this challenges and worked with an other...

D'abord du gesso pour unifier le fond et faire disparaître le texte suivi d'un travail aux tampons dans des tons de gris et noir, et de glimmer mist noir par dessus un masque "fleurs" de Prima. L'acrylique (noire et grise) appliquée avec une vieille carte fut l'étape suivante. J'ai terminé avec quelques collages de reste de papiers qui trainaient sur mon bureau et d'éléments décoratifs....et voilà !

First some gesso to unify the background and to disappear the text, folowed by a stamp's work in tones of gray and black, and glimmer mist black by on a mask "flowers" of Prima. Acrylic (black and grey) applied with an old card was the next step. I finished with a few collages from rest of papers that stayed on my desktop and decorative elements... and voila!

I tend to work with bold colors, not much white. What I absolutely love about this is how you balanced all the bold reds with the black and white. And all of the little details, including the chandelier- so beautiful.
